The Upcoming Events section on this site give more detail about specific art shows/exhibits mentioned within the calendar.

If you are unable to make it to one of these shows, but would still like to purchase some pottery or a painting, please send me an email and we can make other arrangements.

This fall I will be participating in 5 different art shows across Ottawa region. My paintings will not be at all of the shows since they are currently hanging in Starbucks on Bank Street (near Hopewell).

ARTIST BIO

Teri Anne Ryerson started taking art classes at the age of 5 and discovered her love for many different forms of art. She is now a potter, painter (mixed media, acrylics, oils, and water colours), makes jewellery, and sews. Teri Anne is a known potter and mixed media artist in the Ottawa region. Her mixed media art is available in the form of canvas paintings, framed paintings, jewellery and notecards. All of these items are 100% original. She is a Member and Newsletter Editor of the Ottawa Artisans Guild (formerly Gloucester Craftsmen’s Guild). She is also a member and past publicity chair and Spring Show Coordinator for the Nepean Fine Arts League (NFAL). Teri Anne has participated in more than 30 art shows over the last few years. Teri Anne has had her work displayed in galleries, restaurants, local and corporate businesses, as well as museums. Her work has been featured on the local cable network and discussed on the radio. Teri Anne teaches mixed media classes for all ages.

Every card is 100% original and includes an original painting. They have all been signed and can be either given as a card, or framed as a piece of art.

Pottery prices depend on size and complexity of the piece. They range from $5.00 to $85.00, with most pieces around the $25-$50 range. All pottery is dishwasher, microwavable, freezer, oven and bbq friendly!

Jewellery

I have added Jewellery to my collection this year. The main focus are my Microscope Slide Necklaces, but I also make necklaces and earrings with beads, chain and wire. Please see the pictures below for examples of my work.

Microscope Slide Necklaces

These pendants are 100% original. Each necklace is made with two original paintings soldered between two microscope slides. They are reversible and no two are the same.
